March
● TBA - Sales open for Prom and Grad Nite Tickets
○ Prom - First come, first serve. ■ $80 per person - tickets purchased via QR code outside Activities Office
○ Grad Nite - 240 tickets available ■ $250 per person - tickets purchased via QR code outside Activities Office
April
● 14 - Awarded Scholarship Information Deadline
(QR code can be found to the right and in the 2025 Google Classroom)
● 25 - Baby Pictures Deadline
○ Submit to Google Classroom (only students have access to BGHS drive)
○ Make sure to label the file with the student’s full name
May
● 1 - Update Naviance
○ Acceptances, Waitlists, Denials
■ Internal data for school (not public)
○ Select Attending College
■ Informs BGHS where to send the final transcript
● 3 - Prom
○ Durango Resort/Casino, 7:00-10:00 pm
○ Doors close at 7:30 pm, students may not leave before 9:30 pm
● 5 - First Week of AP Exams
● 12 - Second Week of AP Exams
● 13 - Cap & Gown & Yard Sign Pickup
○ At lunch in the activities hallway (already ordered, just need to pick up)
● 15 - Senior Picnic & Last Full Day of School
○ Catered lunch, on the quad
○ Attend classes until 11:00 am, seniors dismissed from school at 12:30 pm
● 16 - Senior Finals at 8:00 am
○ Students are required to take final exams if they have:
■ More than 3 absences in the class period
■ Disciplinary Warning or Disciplinary Probation
■ Cumulative grade less than 80%
■ For AP Classes: did not take the AP exam
● 18/19 - Disney Grad Nite
● 20 - Senior Finals immediately following graduation practice
● 20 - Graduation Practice
○ 8:30 - 9:30 am (Students will pick up cords and stoles at practice)
○ Main Gym - MANDATORY
● 20 - iPad Return
○ 9:30 am, main gym
● 20 - Academic Awards Night
○ 6:00 pm
○ Invitations only sent to parents whose child is receiving an award
● 22 - Baccalaureate Mass
○ Holy Spirit, graduates arrive by 6:00 pm; Mass begins at 6:30 pm
○ Gown, but no caps (students may wear cords and stoles)
○ 4 guests per graduate
● 24 - Graduation
○ Lee's Family Forum
○ Graduates must arrive by 1:00 pm in full regalia
○ Ceremony commences at 2:00 pm and ends at approximately 4:00 pm
○ No tickets required for graduation
○ Carpooling recommended as parking is limited
Important Handbook Information
Graduation Requirements
Seniors must meet all Bishop Gorman requirements to receive a diploma and final transcript. The following is a checklist of obligations that every senior must fulfill. Seniors must:
● Pass all courses necessary for graduation and not be credit-deficient
● Fulfill Christian Service Hour requirements
● Fulfill attendance requirements
● Fulfill all discipline requirements and not have any pending discipline
● Return all sports equipment/uniforms, and school iPad/accessory materials
● Pay fines and tuition
Participation in Commencement Exercises is a privilege and not a right. This privilege can be revoked at any time.
