Bishop Gorman High School was founded in 1954 by the Clerics of St. Viator and moved to a new campus in 2007. With an enrollment of about 1500 students, Bishop Gorman is the oldest Catholic High School in Southern Nevada.
Academics
As a college preparatory school, Bishop Gorman has a 98% college-bound rate. The Class of 2024 boasts 52 Scholars and 140 Honors graduates. Fifteen (15) National Merit Scholarship Commended Students, eleven (11) Finalists, and three (3) National Merit Scholarship Recipient. This senior class received $35 million in scholarship offers. Athletics
Bishop Gorman is the home of the Gaels and has a rich tradition of athletic excellence with over 105 State Championships in our 70-year history. The Class of 2024 also had 40 seniors receiving athletic scholarships to play at the college level.

Fine and Performing Arts
A variety of fine art classes are offered through our curriculum including ceramics, drawing, digital photography, guitar, orchestra, theatre, dance, and much more. The Bishop Gorman thespians have been Theatre State Champions for over 8 years in a row and have won four national titles. The Class of 2024 won 9 Regional Gold Keys in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, and 19 NV Thespian State Champions in Performance. There are many opportunities throughout the year to see our art students showcase their talents.
