The Eucharist is the primary and highest form of prayer in the Catholic Church. Recognizing the value of breaking open the Scriptures in the Liturgy of the Word, and the nourishment found in the Liturgy of the Eucharist, Bishop Gorman High School is committed to providing meaningful celebrations of the Mass throughout the year.
In addition to our All-School Masses, when we come together as one school to celebrate the oneness of the Body of Christ revealed in so many ways, we also celebrate Religion class Liturgies. These smaller Masses will help to build community in the classes and provide for a more intimate Mass in the Chapel. Students are expected to wear their Mass uniforms on Mass days. Mass is also celebrated on Friday mornings before school in the Our Lady of Lourdes Alumni Chapel.
