Bishop Gorman is accepting teaching applications for the 2025-2026 school year in all academic areas, specifically in the following subjects:
  • Theology
  • Social Studies
  • Math
  • Long-Term Substitute Teacher with Art & Art History experience/knowledge. The anticipated start date is immediately and would run through the remainder of this school year and the first 3 months of the 2025-2026 school year. 
All teaching candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree as a minimum requirement. Candidates should possess:
  • A minor, major, or advanced degree in the discipline to be taught
  • Teacher credentials, and/or significant teaching experience, and/or an advanced education degree
  • Familiarity with or a willingness to learn iPad technologies for instruction and student learning
  • A desire to participate in and strengthen the Catholic mission of the school

Administrative Position

President
Bishop Gorman Catholic High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, is seeking applicants for the position of President for the 2025-2026 school year, with a start date of July 1, 2025. Serving over 1500 students, the mission of Bishop Gorman is to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, prepare students for higher education, and create a community where service is valued and celebrated. The school is the oldest Catholic high school in Southern Nevada and is one of three Catholic high schools in the state.
 
Successful candidates must meet the following criteria:
● Practicing Roman Catholic in full communion with the Church with a strong commitment to and working knowledge of the Catholic faith
● Passion for Catholic education and the holistic formation of students
● Bachelor’s degree required at minimum, advanced degree in Education, Business, Leadership, or related field preferred
● Significant leadership experience in Catholic education, non-profit management, or executive administration
● Demonstrated success in fundraising, financial management, and strategic planning
● Exceptional communication and relationship building skills with the ability to implement policies, directives, and initiatives
● Strong understanding of Catholic school governance and Archdiocesan structures and policies, including collaboration with the Archbishop, the Superintendent, and other stakeholders

Facilities Positions

Bishop Gorman is currently accepting applications for the following Facilities positions:
  • Facilities Maintenance: Janitorial
    • Description: With growth of the campus we are looking for the right fit for positions throughout the day to reinforce our current staffing. Please note that work weeks for these positions are Friday-Tuesday or Thursday-Monday (both cover the weekends). In addition, the school is seeking team members for both first (6:00am – 2:30pm) and second (2:00-10:30pm) shifts. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: cleaning and sanitation of buildings and their perimeters, event setup/teardown, and general support of events. Compensation is commensurate with training and experience.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Technician
    • Description: With growth of the campus we are looking for the right fit for positions throughout the day to reinforce our current staffing. Please note that work weeks for these positions are Friday-Tuesday or Thursday-Monday (both cover the weekends). In addition, the school is seeking team members for both first (6:00am – 2:30pm) and second (2:00-10:30pm) shifts. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: General building repairs(drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, lighting, HVAC filters/belts), supporting subcontractors called in for specialized work, event setup/teardown, and general support of events. Compensation is commensurate with training and experience.
